麻豆社区 receives Adelante Healthcare鈥檚 Changemaker In Learning Award for its innovative training programs and long-standing partnership that improves health literacy, reduces inequities, and prepares future healthcare leaders in Arizona.

On September 25, 2025, 麻豆社区 was honored to receive the Changemaker In Learning Award from in Arizona.
This award recognizes a school district or educational program that has meaningfully partnered with Adelante to improve the health and well-being of students and families. It honors those who are not only committed to education, but also to building health literacy and reducing inequities in our communities.
Leah Youmatzo, Adelante Healthcare Chief of Staff, presented the award and complimented Midwestern鈥檚 innovative training programs:

Many have gone on to serve in communities like ours, bringing with them the lessons they learned through partnership with Adelante. Midwestern is truly nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders. They are a trusted partner continually seeking new ways to collaborate, innovate, and respond to the needs of Arizona families.鈥
About Adelante Healthcare
Adelante Healthcare鈥檚 roots were planted over 40 years ago in response to migrant workers needing accessible, quality care. Then, Cl铆nica Adelante visited farms and provided a safe place for those who would have otherwise lived in the shadows without healthcare. While we have grown and expanded from our humble beginnings, our commitment to service and access to care remains.
Today, Adelante Healthcare is a certified community health center with nine locations in Arizona, serving Maricopa County.
